“ I gave five stars for food due to being given a delicious yellow bell pepper by an employee eating his dinner for his shift. Kind of him to offer me some! I went to see Foxy Shazam on 4/29/25. The staff was polite, accommodating, and focused. They let me use the restroom before thr doors opened because they knew I was in line for some time. After the show, they let patrons meet/greet with the bands and let them mingle. Closing up was not mean, or impatient, they have a routine and do it well. This place was worth my drive to spend an evening in. A fine venue for a more intimate show, great sound, great staff, and clean! ”
“ I can't imagine the Kansas City music scene without this place. The calendar is diverse, giving plenty of exposure for local acts, as well as national and international touring acts. I've been a patron and performer since almost the beginning and have always been treated with respect and enthusiasm. Servers and staff are top shelf. Sound system is amazing. If a band you want to see is playing here, they'll always sound their best. This is one of the few venues left that do work outside of operating hours to support the culture of the city. They'll always have my business. ”
